    Hi,

    As per another thread, I just ordered a Dell Axim X51v and I just came across a 1GB SD memory card for s£22 inc. delivery.

    I've bought memory from them before and found them to be reliable so am thinking of ordering this for use with the Axim..... any issues or potential problems??

    What speed are the cards?
    Also,how long is the manufacturer's warranty?

    Checked the manufacturers website...( www.vikinginterworks.com)

    Warranty is 5 years..

    Can't find anything about speed tho... I don't know much about Memory cards specs myself..so don't have a clue.

    Would just be using it for storing music files..MP3's..WMA's and the odd video file...

    At that price, for your purposes..I'd say they're fine. If not...I'm sure you could sell it/them on without much/any loss. :)
    I've only seen bad things written online about their CF cards (and,at that:not many compaints & always take with a pinch of salt)

    Thanks for the input Karoma :)

    I read some reviews on Amazon.com and it seemed to get a general thumbs up for the price. Is less than half the price of the Dell offering (SanDisc) and seemed to work fine for any of the reviewers who were using it for similar purposes to mine. Only negative comments I came across were from people using it for Digital cameras in video mode. Seemed sluggish apparently.

    And yeah.. real indepth informative Datasheet okay :cool:
