Who gets the scalp?

Scalps game last nite in the cue club,player A is all-in for 4,000,(Q-Q), called in two places by players both holding A-K, ace on the flop and split pot.Both players holding A-K had enough chips to eliminate player A,so whats the ruling on who gets the scalp?

i THINK (could be wrong) thats its in fact a split scalp. (usually one pays the other half the value of the scalp).
Vague memory of this from somewhere.
