Ridiculous prediction on my part with little to back it up but they'll play the Olympia on April 30th and May 1st.

    Based on the following:
    -Started their last tour there
    -Bound to announce more dates
-dates seem to be play 2 days, day off, move and play 2 days (which would fit into Apr30th and May1st)
-Olympia has a mysterious schedule gap on those 2 days

now that you have posted this it becomes fact by someone glancing at the thread, gets reposted all over the place, Radiohead hear of it think it might be a good idea and fiction becomes fact.

    yep
    For Dublin it says
W.a.s.t.e. will be selling a limited pre-sale allocation of tickets to w.a.s.t.e. members.
This pre-sale will commence at midday on the 22nd March 2006 at tickets.waste.uk.com

I'd imagine they'll be the same but you'd have a chance of the "charges" being less.

How do you register for w.a.s.t.e. pre-sale?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 121 ✭✭bandy

Not sure if you need to be a registered user or not to buy during the presale but to be sure I'd register here

Actually the charges are usually more because waste usually send tickets from the UK via registered post which adds about GBP5 onto the price.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,038 ✭✭✭rob1891

anyone had any luck with the presale site? (not me obviously, I got an encryption certificate once, but other than that just the password box saying site opens 22nd March, i.e. same as what was there yesterday).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 584 ✭✭✭hallelujah

i got the same box but it says 'site maintenance - back in 15 mins'.

the site must have went down with the demand. dont really mind this - makes it more exciting like getting glasto tickets!

When do these go on sale with Ticketbastard?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,609 ✭✭✭comet

whats the deal with W.A.S.T.E anyway, i don't know what my password is, i registered ages back, but anytime i go to the page to send me my password its says it has sent it to me but i never get it.....weird!

Don't think they do. Radiohead see ticketmaster as clerks of satan.

They have an alternative vendor in the UK now.

    Things to note:

    1. They're apparently working on the site.
    2. Could go live any stage in the next hour or so.
    3. No password will be required.
    4. hallelujah is a big fat liar :p
    5. That is all.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 584 ✭✭✭hallelujah

the authorisation box disappeared and a screen with the RH bear came up but then I refreshed and i'm back to square one :(

I think ticketmaster has them onsale on March 31st.

considering Marley park is relatively big, I dont think Irish fans have a need to use this presale as they tickets will not sell out THAT quick, maybe a few days. The tickets for the smaller UK/EU venues will sell very fast and people know this...

a note on point 4. i am as skinny as a rake and regularly fall through cattle grids and I have not lied since I was 5 about sh*tting behind our sofa.

The last time they played here in 2003 it was the same price. So it's not too bad.

Funny, 55 europes seems reasonable to me to see both Radiohead and Beck in this day and age of extortionate prices.... What's the deal with this Waste thing? Why can't I get a ticket!
