You are probrally better off parking up in one of the estates in Dún Laoghaire. My missus does it, and gets about 2 tickets a year, but it is still cheaper than paying every day.

Personally I never did Irish in school (lucky me :)) so wouldn't have a clue how to spell it right either. I think we all know where he meant without the clever comments.. spell czech forum is elsewhere people!

seems a lot more hassle than its worth to be honest. you could risk parking in the housing estates just after dun laoirghe, or pay the money. but why drive a bit of the way and then get picked ?!... anywho, no free parking in dun laoirghe unfortunately :(

was it really that clear he meant dun laoghaire? he could have just as easily meant d'olier st with spelling like that.

The cinema is only €6.50 last I checked. Also what I do if I dont have the change is use the cinema and then walk up after work and ask them to validate my ticket.

Glasthule car park (beside the dart station) it is about a 5 - 10 minute walk from Dún Laoghaire's main street. There is a bit of a dispute at the moment with the nearby residents and Irish Rail about who can park there, so not clampers at the moment.
