    I find that every time i venture into the planes that i start shooting at other planes/helis then discovering there my teammates coz the planes go so fast...

    What ways do ppl distinguish between different planes and helis when flying fast in the planes??

    And whats the easiest way to take them down the gun or rockets?

    im using the mouse, dont have a joypad yet :(

    use your radar to tell who's friendly.

    when you're taking someone down, shoot at them with your gun until the noise comes on and you see "shoot" on your screen. then fire 2 rockets in succession. if they both hit you've got yourself a kill. if only 1 hits, then maybe you've hit enough with the gun to get that kill.

    i'd recommend you open up a single player game or a map with very few playing and practise flying low and doing evasive manoevers (loops and what not). best map is wake island imo, because you can practise flying under the bridges etc. to get a feel for how the planes work (try going upside-down under a bridge etc.)

    Before patch 1.2 i think there was more skill and enjoyment in flying planes.
    Battles lasted longer as it was way hard to kill with your missiles and your gun was used most of the time:cool:

    With the new patch it seems that once you get behind someone or they behind u, your fooked!! :eek:

    So feck the gun nowadays except for ground jeeps and helicopters
    If you get behind a plane and lock, he will more than likely drop his flares...this is cause he knows the AA's are so good now to let them go early.
    Then when theyre gone just lash maybe 3 or 4 at him unless hes in a heavy bank.Nearly a guaranteed kill
    You have 6 rockets btw, so youve them time to go back and reload

    To identify planes use your radar.
    Also learn the shapes of the planes and colours
    All MEC have a kind of browny camo,
    all american planes are grey.
    Chinese is white, and the bomber is grey, but its only used on daqing if im not mistaken.

    Also, In the order of how good they are

    1.J-10
    2.Mig-29
    3.f-35/f-18, unsure which is better, probably F-35
    and all bombers will just get destroyed by the above

    Also, get a joystick,
    Practice bombing runs

    Practice makes perfect.
