Euro Force Maps on the [BTC] Server ????

    Seen as how a lot of guys from here help us get the server up and running in the evenings I was wondering what ye're take would be on the EF maps being added into the rotation .

    Also , our server is almost due for renewal and we are thinking about getting a 64 player , pros and cons ???

    Feedback appreciated

    Hi Jonski,
    Personally i prefer 32 player to 64 any day.
    I like the EF maps too so why not.

    Aye 64 player server brings in the punters but also a large element of smacktards. Its mentally hard to admin a 64 player server.

    For balance a 32 player server is quite good and the maps are way better as well.

    I've already told you jonski that i don't think a 64 man server is a good idea, but thats just my opinion :D

    I don't know about 64 man server, but I think it would be good to add euro force maps to the server. Variety is the spice of life they say.

    There's my humble opinion.

    I and a few of the NRG lads have EF so we don't mind too much, but i know a good few people who have taken a stance on no giving EA anymore money so you will be guaranteed a drop of a few people at least when you change to an EF map, maybe if you have some system set up to tell people when an EF map is coming or something you might get people coming back to your server when that map has finished, or maybe if you only run the EF maps in the rotation on certain days or times???? Maybe? :D

    Had a brilliant game last night on your servers so in my book you can do what the hell ye like!!

    TS was such a laugh and everything.

    To the mian questions though - I love 64 player maps. And because you have a really popular server? can only help? will it reduce quality? Surely that depends on the players? And the admins. But don't give yourselves more work - cause in the end - its all for fun?

    So ...we put the EF maps into the rotation last night . Played Sharqui with 32 players , then the EF map came on and we had 6 [BTC] members left on the server , everyone else disconnected :(

    sorry to hear it jonski, had a laugh on the server the other night, i lke the EF maps but maybe they were disconnected cos they didn't have it installed/downloaded

    Had a great night again last night. And morning. Me a [BTC]Ghost were on there til half 3. What a laugh. Some really funny fraps vids. But yeah as soon as Great Wall came on - boom - everyone was gone. Which is a shame cos its a great map. But still.

    I like the EF maps so I say go for it and go 64 player mupptes dont bother me just means there are more of them to kill. 64 player servers dont work on some maps but on most they do. The Iorn gator is a great map on 32 players but with 64 the MEC never get a flag and the map is the same for 32 and 64, thats just one example that comes to mind from SF.
