Other than United sneaking the premiership by Chelsea effing it up, what would be the best thing to happen for you this year?

The best thing that could happen is securing a job in Radio, and the best thing that has happened is getting back on the social scene with my friends, as we had lost touch for a bit, and I missed them, so its all good now :)

The best thing that could happen to me this year is that I get a pay rise, and myself and my boyfriend manage to save enough money to fly to Oz by the end of the year!

Then the quality has to improve. Its not going to attract the fan base until it does. The bigger leagues attract the better irish players. Is that the fault of the irish supporters? Not really. Its a money making business like any other. Smaller companies competing with bigger ones dont just give up. They have to fight for their business. This is the same. You'd have to blame the FAI for lack of tv coverage for a start. Sure, thats attracting alot of armchair fans but thats what the big leagues are full of. Expecting fans to be attracted to something they dont find attractive is impossible. Money needs to come first from wherever the clubs or FAI can find it. Then the fan bases will rise.
