Just wondering if anyone else importing this? And when its meant to be shipping cos I've seen a couple of different release dates for it.

Oh yeah and as I'm importing a US version will I be able to play people with Euro versions over Wifi?

I have it pre-ordered from Lik-sang, apparently stock hasn't arrived seeing as it hasn't been shipped =/. I paid for DHL just so I wouldn't have to wait 11 days for it like last time. If it's not shipped by tomorrow morning, I'm sending them an email, I paid to get it early, no later then the 24th >_>.

Played it today. First impressions are very good. Played maybe 30 mins into the single player campaign, and had one online match (which I won).
The graphics, are obviously not gamecube, but they certainly seem better than anything I remember from the N64, and more importantly the controls are good and intuitive.

I didn't think they'd pull off a FPS, but I think they have.

How'd you manage to play it? The amount of people who say they've played it, it's confusing, especially since today (well, yesterday) was a shipping date, stores shouldn't even have been selling it.

Yeah its a bit annoying since lik-sang as still waiting for it to arrive. Still says that stock will arrive on march 20th tho. Hopefully won't be to long

Indeed Tetris is out too. Playing the single player, I was thinking, yeah this is nice and polished, but still essentially tetris.

But the multiplayer! Brilliant! It freshens up playing tetris. Although I'm sad to say, I got owned.

Played MPH last night for about an hour. I really like it (once you get used to the controls!). Graphics are great, as are the cutscenes (which are rendered). Music is very high quality too. Haven't played online yet, so I can't comment on that.

I also played Tetris DS which is, um, Tetris.
Some of the new modes are cool, though, and the presentation is excellent...

Anyways, just checked play-asia and on sunday they had a release date of March 27th and now it says it would ship within 1 week. Just hoping it won't be the same with lik-sang.

played one game of each so far via wifi (internet) - both were excellent (also didn't seem to be as much waiting around to find opponents as with mario kart).

MPH was frantic, kind of like unreal tournament. Tertis DS, as I said - the wifi reinvigorates what is essentially a very old game. You opponent's sceen is on your top screen so you can see how you are doing compared to each other. Obviously when you clear blocks, it pushes your opponents blocks up.

Nintendo seem to be on a roll at the moment.

Been hesitant about buying as it looking more like an FPS then the good ol' Metroid adventuring of yore.

Jeez, I'd have expected my order to ship by now, but it looks like I'll be waiting longer then I hoped. This officially makes DHL a waste of money for me, if I'm just going to recieve it as late as everybody who ordered from a place that actually ships the thing when they say so ><.

The delay between the US and EU releases really does give the Americans an unfair advantage on wifi...

Ordered mine too on Ebay today, only bout 35.00 incl P&P woohoo! Was waiting for the IGN review and it got 90%, that'll do. Broke out the First Hunt demo and for the first time ever actually got the hang of the controls, the game looks fantastic but I just know I'm gonna get my ass handed too me on the wifi, Metroid has some fanatics!

I've played through about a third of the single player game now. It's good once you get used to the small screen and controls. Definitely more combat based than adventure, that's not to say that it's a brainless shooter or anything. There is the typical metroid-style weapon gathering/exploration/going back and forth.

I haven't tried multiplayer yet. Need to work on my skills first.

I probably won't be getting it until May. By then everyone would have mastered it and I'll be the little newbie getting her ass blown away on WiFi.

How long does it take for Lik-Sang to reply after you email them? It shipped in the afternoon for everybody else, and my order still hasn't shipped...

well, mine still says waiting for items but on the website is has a notice saying all preorders have been dispatched and other orders dispatched withi 24 hrs. So Im presuming that means mines been shipped but it just hasnt been updated

Might not, it has only now started to process my (Dad's) credit card. I don't think they're treated my order like a pre-order though.:rolleyes:

My idiot brothers failed to open the door when the DHL Guy came around with the package, now I'm stuck waiting until tomorrow. How did I know this'd happen? Oh yeah, it always happens when we get a package too big for the leter box.

It's just not right, Lik-Sang didn't get it until Friday, they sent my Saturday afternoon, after saying they'd dispatched all pre-orders (:rolleyes: ). Then it got delayed in England, now my dumb brother didn't open the door. This will make it come 5 days after initially expected, or something to that nature.

Mine came today, only got to play it for twenty minutes as the DS battery was low and I couldn't find the charger. It plays great, the controls seemed to have improved slightly since the demo, it's slickly presented and from what I've seen so far it appears it's going to be great throughout, it's the first game in a long time I'm actually excited about playing again later on!. Viva le eBay!.

belive me your not the only one
ive completed the demo like 24 times
but im still playing through resident evil ds so i think i might wait until may when it comes out here (then again i might just go and get it of cd wow)

Had a chance to play through about 25% so for. Great game, really has me engrossed. First few levels are straight forward but then you have to back track to previous levels after you get certain items. Not much online play so far, but it works great when u do get in to a game.

Over all great game!
