    I'd disagree with your inclusion of Sheridan at loose head. He has been very disappointing in a white shirt compared to his Sale form. I would also disagree over Pelous in the second row. I would include Parisse at 6 from Italy who has been very impressive. I think you got the backline right.

    Honourable mentions for Martyn Williams and Peter de Villiers too.

    Sheridan was pretty poor. Props like De Villiers and Castrogiovanni were outstanding during this championship. Reasonable argument for Jason White to make that team aswell.

    Pelous hasn't had a good tournament, but then again very few players did.

    I don't have the best of knowledge on the non-glamour positions.

    Firstly from a welsh perspective, congratulations on your triple Crown and a hell of an exciting game on Saturday.

    As for a team of the six nations to choose from what was a fairly poor tournament skill wise I reckon it would be

    Castaignede (France);
    Horgan (Ire),
    Fritz (France),
    Bergamasco (Italy),
    Paterson (Sco);
    S Jones (Wales),
    Peel (Wales);
    D Jones (Wales),
    Flannery (Ire),
    Nieto (Italy),
    Bortolami (Italy),
    O'Connell (Ire),
    White (Sco),
    Hogg (Sco),
    Parisse (Italy).

    Sheridan is a poor scrummager and doesnt do enough around the park, is overly hyped. Both Jones props did well in a underpowered Welsh Pack, but Nieto was superb all tournament.
    Flannery is looking good a real livewire and if he can hit his men in the lineout will be a class act.

    O'Connell is the Irish Pack though the Irish back row as a unit played well sum being greater than the parts?
    White was immense as was Hogg . First time I had really had a good look at Parisse and he was a great driving back row forward.
    Nyganga for me drifted in and out of games when he was good he was great and then went AWOL for periods

    As for the backs Peel and Jones were a certainty (but then I would say that) Seriously though they are what make the Welsh team tick and despite a campaign to forget they are head and shoulders above any other countries half backs apart from France (when they are going forward!)

    At centre Birgamasco was my player of the tournament fantastic player. Apart from the Welsh game I thought Fritz was a constant threat good hands and vision and kept all defences on the back foot, I know you all will put BOD in any team but he had a very quiet 6 nations and apart from the England game was not really at the races.

    The back 3 pretty much pick themselves as no one else put their hands up with any decent displays apart from Lamont who was almost in the team but had a shocker against Italy
