Panasonic DVD Region - Remote Option only?

All, After weeks of google trawling, I have come to the conclusion that the only way that I am going to be able to make my Panasonic DVD-S97 region free is to buy one of those special remotes. Two questions: 1) Can anyone recomend (from experience) a good site to get one from? 2) Any alternatives that I may have missed?…

All,

After weeks of google trawling, I have come to the conclusion that the only way that I am going to be able to make my Panasonic DVD-S97 region free is to buy one of those special remotes.

PS - It seems very weird to me that someone can create a cheapo DIY remote and flog them on the web and NOBODY else on the web seems to have the instructions or codes to build one yourself?!!!
