Decent barber in Dublin?

Since "Gerard Philips" sold out their Dame Street business to "The Barber Shop" I have noticed that the place is empty most of the time when I'm passing by. They were good barbers and I wish them well in the property market.

Can anyone recommend a good barber in the Dublin area these days? The people that took over aren't the most skilled people and seem to just hack at your head without paying too much attention to detail the way Ger and Phil would when they ran the place.

    Ta!

There's a place just off Temple Bar square, Regency Barbers if my memory serves me correct. They're good in there, €12 a pop though, so I'm not sure if that's too expensive for you!

the guy on north great earl street does a good cut, about 2mins walk from spire. go up the stairs at quiznoz. 11.50 for a dry cut.

the merchant barbers have always been trendy but at 15 euro + i don't think it's worth the wait.
