Last night was a great laugh... It was pretty busy in town on thursday aswell and not too much hassle getting home, but as for last night there wasnt a hope in hell getting a taxi, so nightlink all the way. EVERYWHERE was packed. :D

I tried to stay on the outskirts of town - If I want to see a city full of shambling, nonsensical brain donors I'll stay in and watch Night of the Living Dead.

    hahaha!
yea some people were in bits! i saw one guy on the path in front of me, standing there happy as larry when all of a sudden he just decided to lie down. i was going go see if he was ok but was promptly escorted to the nitelink by a male friend. hope the guy was ok.

everywhere was jammers. taxis were so annoying! completely empty but wudnt stop!

It was for the first time in 6 years that I didn´t go to town and I am not really worried about having missed an awful lot.

I ended up walking home, lack of taxi's et al!

Does anyone else know if there was much violence in Waterford last night?

Heard of plenty of fights in T&H's, and up about town!

I had a good night anyways.

sadly being abroad i couldnt enjoy the *unique* flavour of dublin.

But it was an aweful night, the dj thought the best way to celebrate paddy's day was to play bewitch and try and get irish people to jig to it. Didnt see much else cause i was asked to leave after trying to give the dj a swift boot.

Who ever heard of bewitch being a staple paddy's day band???

    it was a painful experiance.

Bewitch is on par with the "Oh ah, up the Ra" that was going on in shops and restaurants yesterday... Painful.

I was in Tramco, left about 2ish, and walked towards home (dunrum/ballinteer direction), it was well over an hour before we got a taxi! If my mates hadn't have been so drunk, i would have walked home in that time!!!

Me and my parents organised a bit of a Ceili in the local Irish bar, we had trad music going for hours & all the non-finn students (and even a few finns) up dancing. But there was this one girl from coventry who complained to the barman saying:
"Why cant you play proper Irish music instead of this crap, you know music you can sing to, like Boyzone, the Corrs, Westlife or the pogues",

    The barman ignored her :)

I frequented a lot of pubs here in Dundalk and I have to say I was pretty fooked. I didn't even know I went back to my local until one Saturday morning. Still had a great day and was probably oblivious to anything that was going on around me!!

Headed into town and am glad I did. It was a fantastic night the pub was packed but it was a great laugh everyone was in a really good mood and not a bit of trouble. Taxi situation was a bit mad, queue at Trinity COllege was unreal:eek: so walked around to Q bar and wasnt waiting too long:D

Went out Paddy's night and got totally pised. Unusually drunk I might add.

Don't remember getting on the Nitelink, only remember getting off it.
