Can anyone recommend a laptop repairer in Galway? Have a power supply problem. The socket which the power supply plugs into at the back of the laptop) is broken and the power cable needs to be "jiggled" and pulled at an angle to work. Also battery is not charging (maybe the same problem).

Can anyone recommend a repairer? Anyone on boards able to fix it for a fee?

Its a pretty common problem i used to fix in ck alot, generally it involves stripping down the laptop and see'ing if the connector is salvageable in your case that it has to wiggle you may be lucky and a drop of solder may do the job. Now the thing is if the connector is bust its a bastard to get the power connectors sometimes (for hp's anyways) I might know one or two who could do it for you. Will give them a shout and see.
