All online poker site have play money tables where you can play for free. Download one such as PokerStars (Its the best site on the net) and try it out. Good luck.:)

All of the sites do play money tables. I think it's covered in the sticky at the top of this forum!

I think www.pokerstars.net is a completely play client instead of the usual www.pokerstars.com

Well spotted Drakar, never noticed this before, is this just a play money client only? If so great thinking by PokerStars.

PartyPoker have the same thing. I know this because I bought a new machine, downloaded the .net client and then freaked out when my account didn't seem to exist anymore.

I'm surprised nobody's said it yet, but don't expect to learn a lot at the play tables. There's very little real skill involved.
It's recommended that you use play tables to learn the software. To learn the game get a book or two.
