    Hi..

Dunno if everyone has heard of betfair but i have started using it just this week with cheltenham and all and it is absolutely brilliant! You get great odds and it is an amazing site to use! You can also be the bookmaker if you wish laying off odds and breaking even nearly always!

    EDITED.

I think anyone that has put more than a euro bet on in their life has heard of Betfair mate. If that is a referral code it can't be anything other than spam.

Betfair wtf? Never heard of it. And a bonus code as well. Wow. Gonna go place a bet now. Thanks for the tip!

That statement is simply not true. It is quite difficult to lay horses and make a profit. I would not reccommend laying to anyone beginning horse racing. Don't forget that laying is the same as backing odds-on.

Betfair is a great website yes, but unless you know a bit about horses it is a sure way to the poorhouse, especially by laying.

Anyone laying all the favourites yesterday would have a decent profit.
Laying isn't the same as backing odds on, as anyone who layed Nicanor when he lost at 1/6 will tell you!

You are being a bit selective there to be honest. Yesterday was a nasty day for favourites yes. But in terms of odds, laying (even favourites) is still the same as backing odds on (in most cases)

Look at the rest of today at cheltenham:

Here are the current lay prices for favs at time of writing:

    Mighty man 5.5
    Napoltain 8.6
    Basilea Star 4.9
    Oulart 6.8

If you were laying, the liability would be fairly high on these.

    To translate into traditional odds:

    Mighty man 2/9
    Napoltain - around 2/15
    Basilea Star - around 1/4
    Oulart - around 2/11

How can you say it is not the same as backing odds on!

someone delete that message.. that referrer code doesn't give a 20 quid bet

i started using it earlier, can someone explain why there's two different options for each race.

    ie, 17.20 Hcap Hrd
and under it, 17.20 To Be Placed.

it's the same with the other races.

    what's this all about?

also, it say's you can give yourself better odds, what's that all about, how can you just start giving yourself better odds.
