Info on Edinburgh for Summer!

Hello ppl! Just wondering if anyone can help me out, I'm in France at the moment on Erasmus and planned on goin to America for summer but now because of financial reasons among others (the joys of bein a student) I don't think itz gonna work out, so think I'm gonna head to Edinburgh instead, just wondering if anyone had any advice or tips on accomadation and work etc.. cheers big ears, much appreciated!!!

I don't know anything about working there but that the Tattoo is on in August and lasts about 4 weeks so it's very busy then, full of American tourists.

ya cool cheers, heard about that, it's meant to be savage... the real thing I want to find out about is rent, like can ya get college accomadation cheap over the summer ect.. it all looks expensive on the net, but ppl who have spent the summer would have a better idea, if anybody has any clue could ya please let me know...mucho appreciated!

A) Stay in Leith
Get a ticket for the ‘fringe club’ (august)
C) As you are there- support Hib’s – don’t work there!! (voice of experience)
D) ring Standard life, Scot Widows , etc – all the insurance companies, they recruit

the money there is CRAP – fun is incredible!
