This is doing the rounds and it is apparently legit according to a few sources. Its not a per year salarly as you can see by the dates. Below is the whole thing:

Below is the World Wrestling Entertainment talent roster payroll that was taken from October of 2004 until February of 2006. The shown dollar amount beside each wrestler is the grand total that they earned from World Wrestling Entertainment in a one year period (downside guarantees, bonuses, and merchandise shares). Some wrestler's were given special privileges and bonuses in their contracts which can also be seen beside their total pay. All wrestler's contracts begin and end at different months of the year, there for each shown amount is what that particular wrestler earned in a 365 day time period between October 2004 and February 2006 (or however long they have been with the company). All dollar amounts were rounded up/down (Example: $244,766 would be $245,000)

    What does downside payment mean?

I think it means the lowest you can make, if you never make one appearance or cut one promo or wrestle one match.

    - Matt Striker: $43,000

Imagine that downsided... in comparison he's getting paid less than the female managers

    EDIT: So is Murdoch

I guess the divas can make quite alot through magazines, dvds, posters etc... I like Murdoch but right now I can't imagine him being dynamite at the concession stand.

None of this makes sense!! Poor old Val has been there 10 years now, so too has big Vis, on and off, and ****ing Victoria is earning more then they are. So much for loyaly. And Regal is by far the most under appreciated talent at WWE.

A huge amount of it is other things that just a flat wage. Why do you think Cena is doing so well???? ALl the sales of his t-shirts, merch and DVD, same with Taker and Trips.

Austin made millions back in the day from t-shirt sales alone. Foley and Rock have scored huge hits with books!!!!

Victoria will be picking up some cash for sales of Diva's DVDs and the like that the other lads won;t be getting.

Besides, she's a top name female talent after all.

I expected that Eddie Guererro would have earned alot more.

My take on it would be that when he was given a second chance in 2002 they must have signed him to a very low downside guarantee. Or because of his tax probelms they may have been deliberately given him a smaller salary so he would have to pay less in tax penalities.

His wife was reported in the observer as to having to sell the house they just bought in Phoenix before he died which is very sad.

I'd imagine part of the reason Matt Striker's salary is so low is because he hasn't been there a full year yet. That might be the same reason for Murdoch. Cade is earning more than him, but he had already been on tv before, so he might have still been on the same contract, if you get me

As for Eddie, maybe it didn't take into account the full year. He wrote in his book that when he re signed in 2002, it was a basic salary he was signed to, and he had no problem with that. Surely he'd have been on a bigger contract after that though, considering he was champ and all?

Lawler makes a considerable amount considering he only does 2 hours work a week. I'd like to see Cole and Tazz's pay in comparison

Makes for interesting reading all the same

in foleys book he mentioned that his contract was a base amount, and that every time he wrestled he got more sometimes even double. eddie probably pulle din half a mill at least concession not included.

only thing i can think of then is that maybe the contract was from before he broke into the main event region back about 3 years ago when he was in los guerreros, might explain how their world champ was on so little

im suprised chris benoit and rey mysterio are only in the 400 range while randy ortan who doesn't have 50% of the ability or pulling power of the other two is nearly 800,000. Pays to be one of HHH chronies obviously, along with Batista.
Also suprising was Melina's wages, ridiculous, Mickie James is only on 1/3 of her wage and provides a much better role on Raw. Melina is flipping hot though.
