An post St Patrick's day card/stamp error

    What was this about some postcard (or postage stamp) issued by An
    Post for St Pat's day 2006 having the wrong flag (Ivory Coast) and there
    being several thousand of them still on sale on the anpost.ie website ?

    I missed the start of the item on Joe Duffy this afternoon.

    Anyone know what the story is ?

    flag was orange white green. Apparently thats the flag of some loser country

    There is still a very small thumbnail of the postcard (The parade)
    which shows 3 cariacature children holding flags where the flag stand
    is mounted on the orange side of the tricolor. They seem to have
    pulled it from the irishstamps.ie site where it could be purchased.
    I'd say a few will appear on Ebay as rare items (although apparently
    10's of thousands were printed!)
