Hiya larry1, let me be the first of the Boards.ie motorsport forum regulars to welcome you to our own little corner of the internet.

Been watching the highlights of the Irish Rallycross Championship on 'On The Limit Sports' since it started back a few weeks ago. Must say, John's Xsara looks fantastic. Yourself and the rest of the team have done a great job in turning out a really great looking rallycross car. Shame about the bits of bad luck and few mechanical niggles ye seem to have had so far this season with the car but I'm sure in time ye'll sort them out and John will be back regularly challenging the likes of Dermot Carnegie and George Tracey and giving them a good run for their money!

By the way, here's a little something for you, a present by way of welcoming you to the Boards.ie family, if you will! Don't know if you were part of John's crew back when he was involved in special stage rallying but here's a couple of pics I took during the Dunlop Rally of Ireland back in 2000 when John drove his Celica ST185 as a double "0" car. Sorry about the quality, they were taken with a crappy disposable camera and then scanned into the computer but you should be able to get the picture, if you'll pardon the pun!

That was the last rally we did before John took to Rallycross, hoping to hit the tar again in the not to distant future
