Boards.ie Heads up tournament

Hey,

I had an idea for a boards.ie heads up knockout poker tournament. What do people think of the idea. We could sign up here and then work out who plays who up the the final and then the winner gets to become famous on here

We might have to seperate people depending on what poker software they use unless enough people on here use paddy power.

The money wouldnt be important so we could just play $1 heads up games or whatever value they start at.

Would anyone be interested in this idea? I'd do all the admin for it.

P.S. I know i said this is the "Boards.ie heads up tournament" but just in case, this is in no way connected with boards.ie. It is my idea and just thought the people on the boards.ie forum's might be interested in taking part.

I would say around May/June as thats when we had it back in 05.

What we did last year was let the people who got drawing together decide were they played the match,most were played on PP some on Stars and a few Live.

1st game vs Willis (live). WIN
2nd game vs ocallagh (live). WIN
3rd game (online) LOSE

Why wait till June? It doesnt have to be just an annual thing. Was it alot of work and hassle setting it all up?

My 1v1 this year is better than last year but my game was against someone who could only afford min game on ppp so the blinds were silly and I lost so live or decent online levels only.
