Tesco's Ashbourne Complaint

I'm pretty annoyed with an incident that happened in Tesco's Ashbourne yesterday. My sister went for a walk with her 2 year old baby when it started to rain. It looked pretty heavy so she went into Tesco's and asked pleasantly to use the phone to ring home for a lift up from the town. She offered to pay for the phone call, as she did not have her mobile with her. The girl at the customer services desk refused her saying it was not company policy to let customers use the company phone. The Manager was called and he basically re-iterated this to my sister.

The baby was in a state and she was left with no other option but to go across the road in the rain to O'Briens where they had no problem with her using the phone.

The thing that gets me is that my parents go and shop there every week and spend over 200 euro.

    Great Loyalty, well done Tesco's
