Citv channel can be found on ITV2, Mornings from 7am-9.25am. My kids love it better than Cbebbies or cbbc:)

But that is like CBBC on BBC1 or BBC2. The actual full CITV is all day on UK Freeview, and isn't on Satellite yet.

Hi Watty,
I Know, hence the times 7am-9.25am on itv2. Citv channel isn't on Satellite yet, i think it's in may or something? but at least we're geting a taste
of what's coming.:)

CITV launches on the 8th of May on satellite, Confirmed by ITV yesterday.To Correct Watty, the channel is not on All day on Freeview, It time shares with ITV4 and Setanta Sports. When Itv 4 opens at 6.00pm CITV goes off air, Plus when Setanta Sports is showing a ppv event on Freeview Citv GOES OFF AIR.

Aren't GMTV and CITV linked in some way? I'm sure I read something about that somewhere...

From an ITV press release last August -

"Jonathan Lewis, ITV’s Director of Digital Channels said: “A dedicated kids channel will enable us to fully exploit our existing library of quality children’s programming and build valuable brands around new properties such as Granada’s Pocoyo. We will also reap the benefits of being the only commercial children’s channel on Freeview.

Sales for the new channel will be handled by GMTV. “This is a very competitive and specialised market, in which GMTV’s sales team have real expertise and experience. It makes absolute commercial sense for us to exploit that expertise and work with the team that is closest to that market,” said Lewis."
