Yes. Read the nice little link on the top about Clans, and follow the instructions... Have a nice day, and prepare to die:cool:

Well first id recommend playin on a clans server , or alongside clan members of a certain clan. ;)
Get an idea of how they are, Friendly, Ignorant, Abusive etc:confused:
Also, make sure they suit your needs
i.e. They play the same games as you, and also if your willing to pay a small fee etc. Some clans require a donation. I apy 40 euro every 3rd month, which is nothing tbh because i get so much outta clanning :):D
Then just simply post on their forums and ask or PM an admin:)

Ive been calnning for nearly 3 years, and i'm in my 3rd clan now, and in all honesty, i couldnt go back to playin games without being in a clan.
The craic on Ventrillo/Teamspeak in or outta game is what makes it, and matches are always brilliant aswell :D;)

Clanning is the best thing the Internet has ever produced   :D

Clans are really the important thing with gaming. Playing with the people you know gives a great feel to the game and really increases enjoyment of it. TiG came about from mostly people on boards who enjoyed playing together and has now evolved into people from all over Europe who enjoy playing with each other and also the community feel of it. Having drunken nights playing together and abuse and slagging being dished out at each other over TeamSpeak, Ventrillo and IRC.

As it is with clans, some require monthly fee's to cover web hosting and server hosting. Im not quite sure how other clans do this as in tig we do not require any monthy or yearly fee. All our members pay nothing, all we ask is they just play with us and have fun. I think the only time tig has ever asked specifically for donations was when we were funding our super uber server.

I agree ,clans are very important but for different reasons.
It depends on what you want from clans.
Personally ive been in serious clans for far too long.
    Hence how [G.F.F] was founded.
There is nothing like playing for fun imo, popping on TS whether ingame or not with friends is just great.
[G.F.F] or as its name suggests [guns for fun] means theres no matches, practice or commitments.
Unlike some other clans there are no financial commitments either.
We run BF2,COD2 and DOD servers alongside a 60 player Teamspeak server [once you hear Dane and Greenback on TS you are hooked for life :) ] so we cater for more than BF2 players.
All we ask of our members is they enjoy themselves on our very popular servers.

When picking a clan, i also look at the numbers
I dont like being in a clan where the numbers exceed 20, or when there are different factions..i.e 10 play COD, 10 play BF2, etc but all fly under 1 banner

For me its important for a clan to have that personal feel, where you can instantly recognise someone by their voice :D:)

Most of the clans don't require fees, nrg are another clan that don't have fees to pay. Ive been a member of nrg nearly a year now, recently i joined the management and nrg has saw some new life since the 'incidents'. I agree with the other guys and Winters (:D) TS is the best of craic (well most of the time) hearing peoples reactions when they get killed can be hilarious. :D Such as fightin-snr when he gets killed by another claymore (especially from shiny). Winters im a bit worried by the amount of times you said play with in your post. :o Also on the member factor currently nrg has around 20 active members all bf2 players with a few bfv players lying around too. As for other games in the clan i can't see as big a gathering in any other game as the bf series would have with us but i still have to play An1m4l in DOD:S which ill order today as i have birthday money. :D

Quick summing up of Irish-ish Clans who generally post here:

TIG very competitive would enter a 6 man team into a map loading competition.

NRG Have penis size issues in regards to TIG would also enter into map loading compo if TIG were in it 1st.

BTC allow people from Limerick in, so cant be that bad.

1st IB Ummmm they sometimes post here.

    GFF also post here.

    :D
