I was wondering if with the Strong 6130 is it possible to use Diseqc 1.0 and Diseqc 1.2 for another dish at the same time

Do you mean a 2 or 4 way switch, and one switch port goes to motorised dish?

I have a 2 port switch that I want 1 input from my sky dish quad lnb which has a spare port and the other port to goto my motor dish setup

Unfortunately that wont work as both the switch and the motor use diseq commands

Some receivers and ProgDVB on PC *might* be able to do this. It is supported by the 1.2 spec. The Diseqc 1.0 switch may not pass through the commands, though since the Hi Lo band switch on LNB works it might.

There may be no way to configure this on your receiver. More likely to work with a 4 way switch.

As Watty says it might work, so it's worth a try - it depends on how well the Diseqc commands are implemented in the receiver. From reading other forums, some people have got it to work, others have failed.

The preferred way of doing it is to use a 0/12v switch which is independent of Diseqc commands, but not many receivers support them.

You could use a V Box to move the motorised dish:
