Yeah it's in Tallaght Ford on the Airton road. Some chap bought it and then allowed a couple of journalists to go for a spin in it.
The buyer isn't going to drive it much, it's joining the other classic cars in his garage.

Ford Gt, do you mean a GT 40, how much over here I wonder.

no no no dubtom, he means Ford GT, it looks like a GT 40 alright but Ford dont own the rights to the GT40 name, Lola do and they wont sell.

will be dropping by that ford dealer on my way home this evening, I wonder if I drop my Focus in for a service will they let me have it as a courtesy car??

I spotted the GT on the Tallght by pass last Friday. Nearly ran into the back of another car just gawking at it! Couldn't believe I actually saw one.

Nice thing to look out for at the car shows over the summer. Hopefully Kilbeggan.

So is it the Ford remake of the classic thats been on all the shows for the past while. I believe Clarkson from top gear bought one, all though I doubt he fits in it.

    yep thats the one

Clarkson bought one, he was early on the waiting list, but when it arrived it was a lemon, so he sent it back, then bought another one!!!

I saw the Indo article ...What a car!
And it looks great in silver!

Clarkson owns one alright - it has an Isle Of Man registration.
He owns a house (c/w it's own lighthouse!) in the IOM.

I spent a week on the IOM last year. Quite a few exotic cars over there - spotted a Maclaren F1 within hours of arriving on the island. There is no speed limit outside built-up areas so I'm sure that's a great incentive to drive a fast car there! :D
