Error on Passport

    Has anybody ever got a passport issued where the name on the passport had been sent out spelt incorrectly. If so did it take long to resolve. We just received my daughters Passport in the post with her name was printed as Ana instead of Ava. I was just wondering how long it will take so sort out and if it is a straight forward process, we're going away in 2 weeks.

    About a week to ten days I'd say. They're quite fast usually. Especially if it's their mistake.

    It been their mistake and them admitting that are 2 entirely different things.

    I just hope I won't have to go getting the forms filled out again and signed by the guards.

    I doubt it'll come to that. The passport office aren't that bad to deal with these days. It's a much better service than it was in the past imo.
