I'm running a linux server from home that has a dyndns account. When i recently reset my router, i can nolonger ssh/ftp/http to <name>.dyndns.org from either the internet, or within my LAN. I can only ssh/ftp/web to the box via its local ip address (192.168.....).

I have forwarded all the ports etc etc again and i'm using Linksys WRT54G version 4.20.7. Any ideas?

Oh yea, i can also ping <name>.dyndns.org aswell from my windows box, but cant connect.

I wonder has your Dynamic DNS account not updated after your router reset?

Go to www.whatismyip.com. That will tell you what IP Address you've got.
Then do a "host <name>.dyndns.org" from your linux box.
If the two IP Addresses are different, then that's your problem.

    Regards,

    Liam
