Claiming form the County Council??

    Just a quick question..

Has anyone made a claim to a County Council for tyre punctures and car damage from pot-holes??

My tyre exploded the other day when I hit a pot hole, my alloy is totally fecked. I lost control of the car and went into a ditch which broke my wing mirror. I wasn’t going above the speed limit which was 80km and I have a witness.

I took pictures of the tyre, mirror and the pothole but I don’t know what to do or what to expect from the county council from here on in?

Am I just wasting my time? We pay a huge amount on road tax each year and in fairness this pot hole is quite dangerous.

    What do you think?
