I have been playing it since it came out and my disc developed a small crack in the centre about a month ago. But is has spread to the point that my pc won't even recognise that there is a disc in the machine.

    Any suggestions?

You will need to take a picture of your disc and contact EA. They will send you a replacement disc. There should be support pages on eagames.co.uk with the required contact details

You could use a No CD hack not to sure how legal this is.

No CD cracks arent illegal are they ?

Daemon tools seems to be a perfectly legit way to put an end to constant changing of CD's

If you still have your game installed mate, PM me and ill tell ye how to fix it as itll probably get deleted if i post it here

They aren't illegal technically, if you own the game they are legal :D

Yup, they are infact illegal as they break the EALA that you agreed to when installing the game. Also a "no cd" alters the actual code of the game and can therefore be classed as illegal (Alters copyrighted material without permission).

Mounting the image on such programs can be classed as breaking copyright protection as you are actually making a copy of the disc, even though its for your own personal use. The RIAA actually have stated that they claim its illegal to copy music from a cd to your fagPod so, Irish copyright laws are severely messed up and out of date.

Also, usually the game will not update or patch correctly with a "noCD" crack installed, due to it altering the source code.

Id strongly advise you against using any sort of "noCD" crack as it is illegal and will harm your Battlefield2 install. I will reccomend you take my original advise and contact EA who will send you a replacement disc.
