    Did anyone go?

Despite the lack of submissions (1 guillotine)It was a brilliant event.

All of the fights were pretty good.

Best Knockout - Tim Murphy vs. Mickey Young (?) That was an awesome knockout, reminded me of early Vitor Belfort. 10 seconds!!!

Best Fight - Owen Dempsey vs. Aidan Moran(?) This fight had great ground action, great standup, submission escapes, everything. Too bad about the decision though, I thought Dempsey had it 2 to 1.

    Any thoughts?

Tim v Mickey - Who got the KO?

Sorry, Tim Murphy KO'd Mickey Young.

He threw about ten tight little hooks when Mickey tried to clinch and connected with a good few. Powerful punches.

Gotta get the DVD material I guess. That Tim Murphy is to be feared.

Some good fights - the atmosphere was a bit crap, but that's what you get oop North.

Vinny was unlucky not to finish his opponent - he had a triangle locked in at the end of round one, but just didn't have enough time to finish. He fought gamely throughout, showing a cool head and listening to his corner well. Fair play to the other guy though, who got the nod from the judges.

MadDog showed that "ten second Tim" can be a name to be proud of!

Tom Haddock showed some slick reversals against Rodney Moore, despite being a bit overpowered (IMHO). Unfortunately he got stuck on bottom and the ref stopped it. I'd like to see a rematch of this one at some stage.

Fight of the night was definitely the rematch between Owen Dempsey and Aidan Marron. I would have given Owen the nod myself, but thought that it would have been called a draw, taking into account "judges sensibilities", but there you go!

Are you fighting Owen Dempsey at the next Rings?

I'm open to correction but I'm fairly sure I only threw one left!

Thanks for the kind words guys. It was a bit surreal to have a fight end that quick but who's complaining. :D Big thanks to Mr. Grappletastic and Tom for cornering, much appreciated lads!

    Nope!

Tim - I thought I saw a left and a right (or maybe a right and a left).

Clive has KO'ed the correct - it was a right straight and a looping overhand left that did the damage as far as I remember.

I stand corrected, seen the video and I actually threw a good few more punches than I remember.
