Basically im wondering if its a good/bad idea to take supplement during a workout, or would it be best just drink water during and have supplement after. Im asking cause I read that you should take most supplements (protein for example) about 20mins after workout, but for me that would be hard as I wouldnt be going home after not for at least an hour anyway. I was thinking of maybe having the mixture in a container and mixing it after with some water. Most manufacturers recommend drinking within 5mins of mixing as well, so I couldnt mix it and just have in in a different bottle, would like to do that alright, but could be sitting in bottle for hours. Id like to start taking it on a regular basis as im not the biggest guy in the world and I have a irregular schedule so can be hard to remember to take it. Any help on this would be great. Also anyone have any comments on Cyclone?

Cyclone = expensive. You can get the ingredients that work, in greater volumes for less money if you buy them seperately.

As for your problem , simply bring the power in the bottle or shaker you use and then add water after the workout.

If your looking to take something during your workout that might help you, your looking for a carb source like gluscose and maybe some BCAA's ( branched chain amino acids ) but to be honest this is not at all required. Just make sure your get your whey/creatine in after your workout, make sure you get in some simple carbs as wel before hand, try 2 Liga biscuits straight after your workout , your whey/creatine after your shower, and then try and get a full wholefood meal in as soon as you can after that.

Thanks for that Dragan! Think i'll bring it in a separate bottle alright. Just another quick question when is the best time or should I say the most important time to take protein shakes? Like they say take 2-3 times a day so I presume one in the morning maybe one at lunch and one after workout but which would be the best? I reckon its probably best after the workout more important. I could be totally wrong so thats why im asking. Im thinking myself i'll only take it after a workout, whats the verdict?

Generally in the morning, after a workout and (only if you want to) last thing at night. For post-workout drink with water so it gets absorbed really fast, and at night you can add milk to slow down aa absorption. Ideally the trick is to try and get a good balance of carbs and protein in for every meal, so the shake helps with that, especially in the morning. For lunch dinner and snacks you can usually get protein in the form of meats and pulses.
