I have a quick question about postage procedure. My girlfriend sent a letter from England 7working days ago, she seems to think she didnt put enough stamps on the letter. She only had one stamp left so she was hoping it would do, just might be a little bit longer. What happens in this case? I was just wondering if there wasnt enough stamps on it would they throw it away? Or would it be it would take ages to arrive? Im in Galway btw. Any help would be appreciated!

Just takes longer. It will be stamped saying why that was the delay. It will not be thrown out. At worst it would be returned to sender if she put her address on it. Maybe 1-2weeks more

When I was young I used to trade stuff with guys in the UK and put the wrong postage on by a long shot both ways, always got through.

In future she should lick a sticker or something else and put it on the envelope, this way it looks like the stamp may have fallen off, then you get the benefit of the doubt.
