Q is it winner takes all or are we doing 1st & 2nd?
Is it just an accumulation of 2 and 1pts total? or is it 2pts @10-1 winner =20pts?
what if u place a horse and it wins?
    :) thx

Did you not read any of the threads on the competition? NAP is double points, SNAP is treble.

What's the story with the head to head thing?
Still not sure how it works.

I am paired against Ziggy. Does it work like this:

If I get more points by friday, he owes me the prize we agreed, or vice versa?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,757 ✭✭✭masterK

By the way the prize money will be as follows:

    1st - €160
    2nd - €50
    3rd - €30

I ssume that place bets will be different to EW bets??? This seemed to be ambiguous in previous posts so can I take it that PLACE and EW bets are taken as separate?

I would assume the same. With e/w being half a point place and same win. I'm just wondering for the sake of clarity and simplicity would it not be better to just treat place as each way or vice versa? I will leave that up to fade.

Can Fade clarify this before 12.30pm?

Sorry guys....was up in non internet land for a while. As mentioned before a place bet is simply each way..

For instance...if you fancy a horse at 16-1 and he places....the price will be read as 4-1 (if the field is more than 16 runners....for this competition ALL RACES REGARDLESS OF HANDICAP OR NOT, OVER 16 RUNNERS WILL BE 1-2-3-4)

    Ok thanks.

So 2pts PLACE on a 3/1 shot will give +0.6pts profit. Thanks.

Any chance you could put up the scoreboard?

I think the major bookies are paying 5 places in last race so I should get ew on my last one there;) .

Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me on this question.

It's fairly obvious lads....whoever has the most points wins in each head to head...
