First time user of PayPal setting things up, i had a friend send me $10 as a test to see if funds would go into my AIB bank account.

Does AIB support PayPal and acceptance of funds from PayPal?
Any links or info i need to read up on?

I am a member of paypal under my aib student credit card, and have had no problem at all paying for items ive bought. Paypal keeps the credit card details, and when you buy your next item, your credit card is there to be credited.Or you can enter e new credit card.

If somebody pays you I think it goes into a paypal account by default. Then you have to send from paypal to your AIB account, so you will be charged extra for that by paypal.
I sell far less than I buy so have no need to do this. If I put an auction up in $ then I am paid in $ and so I have a $ balance on paypal. Then if I buy something in $ it is taken from this balance and I am not stung for exchange rates.

Also I think (maybe wrong here) that the person I am paying does not have to pay the "acceptance" fee since it is direct from paypal and not c/c
