I have the old x50 - it came with excel & word.
Adobe Reader had to be downloaded seperate.

Fantastic li'l PDA. Might be worth purchasing an extended battery (+case) from Dell or eBay though. (Although, the battery in mine lasts me a train journey to Galway<->Dublin )

Ordered one of these, didnt bother with the extra life battery. I'll wait and see how it performs. Karoma, How long is a train journey from Galway to Dublin anyways?!?

The only time i have seen one of these was about a year ago when i was visting my brother in the US. He had one but just dont know why people want them or what good they are for you ?

    I use mine for

    Contacts,
    Calender,
To do list (doesnt mean anything gets done though)
    Reading news (avantgo)
    Keeping useful reference files (pdfs/text)
    storing passwords logins etc (passman)
    Calculator
    Reading ebooks (mjubook)
MP3 player (GS player, 1 Gig card)
    Dictionary (pocketdict)
    Keeping track of expenses

I'd like one with Wifi now, but I can manage a while longer.
