Hi, I want to buy a BB gun from the internet and was just wondering, if it is illegal to ship them into ireland?

YES.Without an import liscense and firearms cert.

The import cert shouldn't be required if you have the licence CG. Though you might need other paperwork if you were importing from the EU. But yes, definitely illegal if you don't have a licence.
