It's so draining and really unhealthy carrying around ****ty ignorance from people day in day out.

Today "I pressed the BUTTON to get get OFF at the NEXT STOP" YET the bus DRIVER drove on while i was climbing over people making sure I WAS GETTING OFF (if i was'nt acting in air pilot control).
So i wanted to give it back to him without letting off that I was pissed off!
I explained what I had done and said it for Most to hear!

His response was, in authoritive tone, well you didn't press the button? you didn't press in time? WTF

This is where it piss me off? does this piss you off? Another example People who roar down the phone and you clearly have nothing wrong done, or some bleach pony tailed girl with two prams ram into you, YES ON THE BUS without saying anything?

How do you deal with people like this,

Agreed. So did he ring the bell or not? Strange choice of words to capitalise, too....

sorry lads, my caps lock was on. what i mean to say is that the op has no business carrying other peoples ignorance or anger around with him. as he says himself it's very unhealthy. there's nothing he can do about the situation besides getting over it asap and continuing with his day.

What a bunch of bóllox! This is what's wrong with people now. I would have made sure that the bus driver knows he or she - although in the case of a she I've never experienced this - that they are an asshole. This has happened to me a few times, but no longer. I've only recently taken back to public transport and my faith in humanity has dropped significantly. Very, very badly.

I am now a genius at negotiating the public transport system and also at dealing with your average asshole. I must admit, due to my pleasant nature it took me a while to "adjust".

Build a wall and get over it??! Fúck off. Fool.

Ah sometimes the bells on busses are just bolloxed or the driver is just deaf.
Which is why I went through a phase of ringing the absolute shít out of the bell when I was getting off... always good for a laugh. :D
Even repeatedly ringing each button you pass and letting the diver seeing you do it.... ahahah, take that busdriver!

If a bus is packed I'll usually just press the bell about 3 streets before the stop just so I have plenty of time to get thru the people-jam and the driver has plenty of time to digest that someone is trying to get off.

It's like blaming the driver cos he won't give you you're 5c reciept anymore.
If you had your head screwed on your could have prepared the correct change in advance anyway.

That's interesting actually (well, it's not really, but for the sake of conversation let's say that it is...), I got a 5c reciept yesterday on the way into town, but didn't get one on the way back... paying 1.40 for a 1.35 fare.

I've noticed that they've got new tickets/reciepts now... which are wider than the old ones and printed in black instead of blue.
It was the new kind that I got the 5c reciept from.
    The plot thickens!

That doesn't work on the AV class/00-D upwards double deckers where it only rings once per floor... it's probably your fault too! :D

The original post was legible, but just.

The most annoying thing regarding Bus drivers not stopping, is near my college. Normally I'd press the button, however if I walk to the top of an empty bus, stand beside the bus driver with a bag on my bag, I would expect them to stop at the college stop, just a bit of cop on. There are some idiots that just drive by the stop, and I've to stand there, reach back and press the button, and only then do they stop at the next stop..

    Very annoying.

It probably wasn't safe for him to stop... Double decker buses, or buses in general don't stop too easily.

It's a well-recognised fact that mad people capitalise weirdly.

Lol... so i was going to cause an accident!
Do you use public transport?. Let just say for argument sake If that was the case do you think I would have started a rant. I'm just giving a response not a reaction. I was prepared, pressed it two times and was making my journey in plenty of time knowing how packed it was, I do this everyday, he wasn't doing 60Mph. I'm prity used to public transport now so I know what I must do in order to get off. It's the bus driver problem can't do his job right people can't get off. So well there's no point in public transport is there then as you said it be to dangerous to stop.

The Bus driver just could'nt be arsed to stop! It was obvious because I was at the door when he drove past
