Camera and kit's worth?

    I'm kinda wondering how much money my whole kit is worth (all new and what it would make 2nd hand) IF I decide to sell/upgrade 20D / 1D MKII.

    ..or otherwise insure it..

    My whole bundleworth is:

    Canon EOS 300D DSLR
    Canon 18-55mm EF-S f3.5-5.6 kit lens
    Sigma 28-300mm f3.5-6.3 DG lens
    BG-E1 Battery grip
    Hama Tripod
    1GB Hitachi CF Microdrive
    128MB CF Card


    Everything listed has original box and all original content / papers. Nothing has scratches/marks.

    Even if it's in great condition I don't think is worth more than 700 euro.
    You might get a bit more if you sell everything in parts, not a bundle.
    Check ebay.

    If I were you I'd keep the camera and grip as second body and get rid of the rest.

    Yeah, I love the camera and it's well up for the job. I'd just love a 20D or 1D MKII.. I might keep hold of the 300D for a while though
    I wouldn't get a 350D/10D for the main fact, theres hardly any difference in my opinion.
