Questions about SKY INstall

    Hi,
I have ordered sky digital directly from sky. I live in 2 story semi. Will they attach the dish to the chimney or the front of the house. I know what way it must face, but would prefer it on the chimney.

Also how felxible are they. I have a second hand sky box for my bedroom that I am going to use for FTA. Would they run the necessary wire and provide the double lnb?

Even if they lef the wire and lnb I could tackle it myself.

If they would do it, how much do you think they would charge for the extra bits?

    Cheers

I'm sure they would depending on the installer.

It will obviously cost you extra for the service and the extra cable/equipment.

It is better not on the chimney. It should be easy to reach for maintenance. It actually recieves upwards at about 22 degrees despite the angle the dish seems to be at.

You don't get "double" LNBs for Sky. It is a quad having up to 4 outlets. Ask nicely. There may be an extra charge.

First of all they are obliged to charge you €66 to install the dish on the chimney, secondly they will charge about €70-90 for the quad lnb + install fee to run the new drop about €50-90.
