* Fixed the Hmmwv with TOW crash on Battlefield 2: Special Forces maps
* Fixed the Battle Recorder crash
* Fixed the screen capture
* Fixed the issue with Pixel Shader 1.4 video cards
* Fixed the issue that caused heat seeking missiles to stick to oil towers
* Fixed the issue that caused heat seaking missiles to ziz-zag
* Reduced the maximum number of claymores that can be dropped to 2
* Fixed the Server Browser filter to enable search by map name
* Fixed the error in Client - Server communication causing sound, animation and other sync issues.

14 meg? Pretty small really. How will this affect Euro Forces if I get it? I presume I'll need to reapply the patch.

Nope. The 1.2 patch was the EF patch. It's come out before Ef so we won't have to install something after EF (like SF)

Anyone else noticed any fixes? I was AT for awhile last night after the patch was installed every missle i fired hit its target without going through it, still a few problems with the AT kit though with actually firing the missle

Does it stay in target mode properly? Mine kept jumping in and out of target mode when I moved or fired in 1.2, couldnt aim the missile then.

How come the patches are always available elsewhere before they are available from the official site? Leaked ?

There were about 25 beta testers who knew that it was coming out today so someone let it slip it seems.

JFI, this isn't the final version that the beta-testers tested. There was another patch with a higher version number but no idea what the difference between the patches would have been.

If its on EA's FTP then it cant have been leaked.

Lucutus or myself will have the boards.ie server updated within 5 mins of the ranked server patch coming out.

Just before I went to bed last night one of our guys on TS said that he had found the server side patch on the EA site . I was supposed to go check it out but at that stage the eyes were closing so i have no link .

spooky wait til the servers update cosi installed this last night and then couldn't play on boards server, played on a german one and I didn't notice much of a difference to be honest.

I got a ****e load of red blue name tag errors last night beforei installed 1.21, between bein killed by a guy on my team and killin guys on my own team i had a terrible night, prob wont play again til sunday, leave it a few days to get the love and longin for kills back

The 1.21 server patch has AT and claymores 'FF OFF' by default, just like before the 1.2 patch.

So if you want don't want to generate tk's for claymores and AT mines then admins will need to set 'sv.friendlyFireWithMines 0' on the server.

Didn't know that ( there's a lot I don't know actually ) . So those patches on my post are for unranked only then ?

The red/Blug tag thing is shocking.
And its not just at the tag level, I shot someone the other day from my own team, he had a red tag but I wasnt convinced he was enemy so I checked his name on the teams and he was actually listed on other team.
At that point I killed him and the whole "WTF are you at" messages started

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're unranked only. The ranked server files are sent direct to the Truster Partners (365gaming.ie for our board)

Had I stopped for a second and thought about it then I would have seen how obvious it was that the ranked version wouldn't be released to the general public .
