New game??????

Right, well i'm on the look out for a new game for my 360. I have COD2 and PGR3. Someone deleted my saved game on COD2(I had just finished the british misssions) and i dont feel like going at it from the start again.

I have any decent xbox games, looking for a new 360 one. Quite like the look of GRAW and Fight Night. Which one would ye recomend for the most craic/playability.

Hmm not so sure about Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter myself, admittedley it looks to be an excellent game, but I get the vibe off of it that you'd have to be a fan of the prior Rainbow Six games to fully appreciate it. I recommend having a look at Fight Night: Round 3, I mean, come on!, what's better than smashing someones face in?!.... virtually of.. course

Im getting both, but i gaurantee, there is 100 times more reply ability of graw then fight night, and graw will be still better :rolleyes: but either way, cant wait till tomorrow. anyway, i could smash someone's face in, anytime i want, but i cant become an american marine, fighting in a futuristic war in mexico city now can i?

Hell yes, I am on live. I was thinking GWAR until Laguna said you'd have to have been a fan of the others to fully appriciate it. But then Irish Grumpy mentioned it was a futuristic war set in mexico city. HOW COOL IS THAT. Still not sure what ill get.
Thats for the COD2 cheat ill give it a lash.

It is not "futuristic" in a sci-fi way, or indeed in much of a futuristic way. It just takes advantage of army equipment that is not yet in-field ( and so it's futuristic in that sense ). I doubt you could lose by picking up GRAW, give it a blast and if you don't like it, try FNR3 (I assume you have at least tried the demo?). I would say FNR3 is definitly good craic, especially with some mates, but GRAW seems equally so and then some in most cases.

Yeah, im thinking of going with GRAW. The only thing is on LIVE will it have as bad a lag as COD2. I know theres a patch comming out but has anyone heard anything yet???

I wasn' a huge fan of previous Ghost Recon titles but this one is pretty good stuff, graphics glitch a bit from time to time, and not quite as mush feedon to wander around the city as I'd like but it's a damn fine game none-the-less.
I did, however, pop it into 1st person mode after trying the default 3rd person setting, much better now so it is.

yeah, but in fpv, you cant see your gun!! uggh. Mine still hasnt arrived from cdwow (graw) but i got fight night and its deadly.

Have been playing GRAW since Friday and having a jolly good time doing so. If you like shooters it's defintely worth a look...

I'm a bit like Irish GrumPy though... Will probably get FNR3, have played the Demo with friends and it's nothing short of hilarious at times ::D

FN can be bugy at times, and some of the textures are fcuked, considering it was slated for a winter 2006 release, it was deffo rushed, and lol, in single player if you win a certain sponsored fight, you get cash, and a 2007 dodge.... which is further prove of it's rush-ness.

still one of the more impressive 360 titles all the same.

It was released winter '06 (stateside anyway, and almost over here)....

Also, "next years" cars are sometimes given away at big sporting events (see superbowl).

I have mixed feeling about GRAW at this stage, I am not really able to get into it's multiplayer game at all, too much waiting, all over too fast.

Just a correction here, the Dodge 2007 would be released in 2006 in the US
All/most cars are released like that. so you would have the 2007 focus/f150/corvette etc., released in 2006.
