Monitor, HD or Not???

    Someone has offered this monitor (http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=311135) to me for a good price, just wondering if this will play my 360 in High Def?

    The specs are on the webpage!!!

    Yes it will though it will play games in 4:3 mode not in widescreen.

    The max resolution of the display 1280×1024 but the Xbox 360 wouldnt be rendering at that it will render internally at what the game developer sets or supports (e.g 480p, 720p) then scale it to the display but it should still good if thats what you want to know.

    Ye i tried it there and it doesnt seem very Hi Def though... Maybe ill have to tinker with the settings for a while.

    Any one setup a 360 using a vga cable with an LCD??? Anyone at all????

    It is really meant for a widescreen display but if you do not have the option in the Xbox 360 dashboard for 1280x1024 then the display will not be outputting at its native resolution which can cause some blurryness.

    [The option for 1280x1024 in the dashbaord should be there as MS says it supports it with that VGA cable]

    The Xbox 360 renders an image internally at a specific resolution set by the developer e.g 720p = 1280x720 pixels some even go lower/higher or do custom resolutions. This is then passed to the video output chips on the Xbox 360 which will scale the image to the resolution set by the dashboard so what your getting is "Hi-def".
