Bored in work.... And stuck too.

Hey all..

Well I'm in work now. A silly lil temp job... and my days work finishes at about 11am.... so nothing to dfo all day apart from answer the phone. which will be approx 20 times between now and 5..

Luckly i have full internet acess. God what would i do without the internet access..


Anyone stuck in the same situation.

I use them at home.. HOwever although i have broadband connection in work. the computer has NO sound card.. and is a PII 500 Mhz runnin only 128 meg of ram and windows 98....how sad.. ah well will ahve to stick with boards.

yep, pretty much the same here. I'm stuck on reception in the office all week as the recetionist is off. I hate it cause i'm kinda expected to do my typing whilst answering the phone (which can be quite busy). I try to ignore my tapes though, i'm currently shredding paper to give me something to do

What I'd give for a paper shredder...My job is so mundane that I cut the waste paper into four, staple them together and make notepads. Thats me doing my bit to save the rain forests or some such sh!te

I love fridays when I'm not working the weekend. I noly get every 3rd weekend off and This is one of them Thank god...I've just worked 10 days straight.

Is that really true about the bible bing the most shop lifted book? Thats not very christian is it?

ON another point I also thought yippe its friday but then realised that i'm moving house this weekend and have to spend the whole weekend moving stuff. so no rest at all. grrrrr

Saturday's a bad day to move. Wednesday's the best day? Don't know why. Personally I wouldn't re-arrange any plans to move on a Wednesday as opposed to any other day in the week, in saying that though, I've moved on a Friday and have also delayed moving till a Monday to avoid doing it on the weekend..part superstion, part social reasons!

Fridays are always quiet in my place recently. Am bored to death!

Mind you ...I've been waiting for this day all week, ever since most of Tuesday felt like a Friday! I was gutted when I realised it was no where near the end of the week

God I don't know where it came from I just remember telling someone I was moving and was told oh no not Saturday thats a bad day to move, feck it maybe they just wanted me to go on the rip with them instead? I dunno!

technically, no. you're not actually doing any work while you're here (unless you're a reporter for the sunday world and are researching next weeks page 5 crap-o-rama. yeah, we're on to you).
i miss work. i'd love to be in work right now. can't access the net when i'm working. it's physically impossible. not that it bothers me. i love my job.
