Yeah, Eurosport have three broadcasts tomorrow. 7.30 to 10.00, 13.00 to 14.30 and 19.15 to 21.00

I think that's right...The first two are advertised as live coverage, the last broadcast is advertised as 'Day 1' so I assume it will show highlights of all the days action.

Cragg through comfortably, despite a mid-race hiccup. 7:53.74 is not too shabby, but the final is loaded.

Good morning for Ireland so far, Emily Maher through automatically and Ailis McSweeney through as a fastest qualifier, so two Irish girls in the 60 semi.

Heats of the Womens 3000m cancelled so the 2 girls go into the final

Ailis McSweeney & Emily Maher both made it to semi-finals of 60m but the qualifying times for the final were significantly faster than their PBs.

Emily was one hundreth better than this morning to run 7:37 placing her 5th in this afternoon's semi, won by Williams, USA in 7:10. Emily was one hundredth off her PB from 19 Feb in Belfast.

Ailis went two hundreths better in the semi than her morning heat and finished 7th in 7:42, some 5 hundredths slower than her PB (2005). Her heat was won by another US athlete, Barber, in 7:12.

Fastest losers qualified in 7:19, 7:23.

Well done to both Ailis and Emily.

David Gillick is eliminated, only 5th in his heat in 47.61. The winner, Molefe, ran a World lead 45.74

McCarthy through as fastest loser. This is the 400m indoor: anything can happen. Go for it, Dave. (Not that he'll be reading posts here!)

    Corrigenda:

Merritt DQed in Mac's heat, so Mac goes through by right.

46.68 for McCarthy. Good result for him.

Nolan wins his heat. Looks a different athlete this year.

Maybe my prediction of 2 medals might be still on...

It will be notoriously difficult to win medals at this championships. Derval, in my view, still our best bet. Cragg & Nolan have done well thus far but a considerable improvement will be required to go further. As somebody above said anything can happen in the 400 but I don't think that includes a McCarthy medal, but, again, he has done very well so far. The 3000 girls will do well to finish mid - field.

Derval wins her semi in an NR 7.87! The fastest qualifier.

Her final is on straight after Nolan's, this afternoon.

    Go for it!
