Ok People, looks like its time for another Greet&Grub™. Its gonna be in Dublin and on Saturday the 25th March.

Last one was a success and was in the Bleeding Horse. I'll take suggestions for this one but want to decide soon.

Its a good idea to have things like this so people going on investigations, like the Charleville one on the 15th April, get a chance to put faces to names. It can also be hard to discuss paranormal experiences with people in you day to day life as some might think you're nuts. This way you know the people you are meeting are open to sharing and understanding each other.

Apart from that its a good excuse to get out for a pint!

Come on, with the recent influx of new people posting on here and the constant stream of lurkers this poll should be off the chart at this stage!

Any suggestions of good stops for a saturday night where we might actually be able to hear each other talk?

    Hi Sussie,

Havent picked a spot yet,as i said it might be difficult to find a spot in the city centre thats quiet enough to chat on a Saturday night. Suggestions?

Would be great to have you guys along, its a good chance for people to meet before the Charleville trip.

Hi Guys, I have reserved a few tables upstairs in The Oval on Abbey Street just off O'Connell Street. the_oval2_lge.jpg

It serves food and a good pint plus its easy to find. Its under my name and I'll be there from 7. Its right up the stairs and the very top.

The Poll says 6 people so far, I know me, Stevenmu and Sussie are 3 of them who are the others?

Sussie, you'll have a few more with you i guess?

Would be great if you did, have plenty i'd like to pick your brians about. Maybe I should post this in Spirituality and Paganism?

I've put it on AfterHours and Events too, we get alot of "Guests" and non posters popping into Paranormal so try to open it to as many people as possible.

I think it's fair to say it was a great night. Turns out the pub was haunted and we had some great conversations with some very interesting ghosts. Unfortunatly no one had thought to bring a camera. We also tried a quick precognition experiment and managed to predict all 6 lotto numbers, I'm hopefull that next time around one of us will actually remember to buy some tickets. We also had a very deep existential conversation, at the end of which we managed to prove conclusively that none of us in fact existed. Special mention has to go to Dublin6th who, despite not actually existing, managed to get abducted by aliens on leaving the pub (hence his not posting a summary yet).

*my recollection of events may be slightly inaccurate in some minor details

Ok am back, was off for a few days in New York, flew out the morning after the Greet&Grub™.

Wasn't a great turn out and would have been pretty piZZed off it it hadnt turned into an interesting night despite the grand total of 5 people there - luckily its quality not quantity as they say.

One thing taht has keep me thinking since that night was an idea which we'll call the "Sleeper" which i'll be starting a thread on once i trapes through a weeks worth of missed posts and emails.

Well dont to all that went ....... the Aliens that abducted me say hi!
