    Afternoon All,

Probably not ideal for this section but I am looking to get a recommendation for football boots. I have been using the adidas predators for a year and they have been fine but are on their way out I am afraid. So can anybody recommend a good pair, mouldies & studs preferrably, and more importantly somewhere to get them. I find the sports shops in town Champion, Marathon, Lifesytle pretty poor for selection and value really. Even if there are any websites that you use post it up please!

    Nice one!!

you want good football boots get rid of those predators for a start, crap! (imo) get yourself a set of adidas world cups or puma kings for the studs and i sue a pair of umbro specialis for the moldies, they are goos and they are cheap.

you will get any of these in any decent sports shop
I once had a pair of predators and i gave them away cuz they were so crap!

Predators are terrible boots. Puma Kings mouldies and studs.

Mouldes: Addias Copa mundial or Puma kings
Studs: Addias World cup or Puma kings SL

This is my experience having worn these boots and nothing else for 6 or 7 years.

Addias world cup and Copa Mundial are not the same boot. The world cup is a wider AND SMALLER (if you buy 10s in the world cup you only need 9 1/2s in the modials) fiting boot. Go for the Puma king in studs if you have wide feet.

Buy boots about 1/2 a size too small the leather is very good quality and will expand to the shape of your foot after about an hour of wearing. I've lost toe nails doing this but it has still been worth while. There is nothing worse than a pair of boots even slighty too big for you.

Don't buy Puma king mixsoles. They have very poor give on hard ground, very hard on your knees.

Your only man (offline) for these boots is the guy in soccer city off Georges street in Dublin (they do all 1/2 sizes). I got my last pair of puma kings on ebay for €80.
