    Of course they cannot. They can strip out what they put in but I would expect they would have to put back the old item.

    I am so certain they cannot since you would hear plenty of stories if they could, i.e. trying to charge and extra €50,000 for a new tire, why not do it if you could get away with it legally, hang onto the ferrrari and flog it.
