Hi Everyone,

Tried to login yesterday with this for you no joy, so here it is today,

We have a big black noisy nasty smelly spirit/ghost/poltergeist/spectre in our house.

I think it came from the small forest down the road. Tied a house clearing on Sunday night as on Saturday night it threw a plastic bottle/container at/towards my huspy. We decided things had gone far enough.

During the house clearance it didn't react very pleasantly slamming doors freezing us and following us.

Rang a priest on Monday as it still hadn't gone, so he's coming tonight at 8pm.

VeryVery scary. Its huge maybe 8/9ft in height and has quiet a malevolent feel to it.

will let you all know how things turn out tomorrow. Wish us luck and safety.

Hi Rea,

Great to see you could get back on here.

Anyway its a real shame its come far away for me to get down to have a look, we really appreciate that you share your expereinces here. Hopefully the priest can be of help, either way i will look into similar cases and ask advice from people I know.

Of course all of us here send our best and hope you can have your homelife returned to normal.

fingers are crossed all things work out well for you. Please let us know how you get on with this.
Out of interest, you seem to be familiar with this type of ghost. Do you know anywhere I can learn more? I had a similar experience in an old building in a forest with what seemed to be a very strong, malicious presence. I'll be posting the story in the "ghost experience" thread later today.

Yeah Archeron, I have had many encounters with many things.

The last 12 months alone have been surreal.

Would it be a bit sacreligious to record on phone?

Still haven't been able to send email from my phone with Guide(?) picture ...........have been a bit stressed and busy so didn't take time to ring Ericsson but will do today. Will show all in Charleville anyway.

Sacreligious? Surely if God exists chances are he's a nice guy, I mean i've sure he giggles when a toddler does something funny and silly? Surely he wants us to explorer what he has created for us, if he put us her to simple exist, whats the point?

I say we have a duty as spiritual beings to look at things and use whatever is at our disposal to ducument and share our experiences with each other?

We should learn to be more relaxed and casual (not flipant) with our relationship with god and all that is around us. As was said on another boards (not boards) resently, if god requires us to attend mass and follows a strick set of rules he must be a pretty insecure guy.

Hiya 6th,

I know what you're saying and I agree with you, but for me, a ceremony if its going to be recorded let somebody who isn't invovled in the ceremony do it. When you've seen and been through what I have in my life you take note of things. Thats really all I meant. I wanted to be as involved in what happened with the priests ceremony as possible and to not worry about can the speakers pick this up etc....

It has been a scary experience for us both and I didn't want to put a foot wrong.

Anyway, Hi everyone,

The priest arrived just after 8pm. A very nice man. We sat down in the living room for about an hour and filled him in on everything. For about the first 10 mins he seemed a little doubtful but as we went into all the details and descriptions he seemed to open up. "It" gave a demonstration of noise after about 45 mins and the poor man nearly jumped out of his chair. He looked at us and said how could we live here with that going on. I told him it gets worse than that. Its funny how you can get used to the noises- no not used to but just kind of let them be there and try not to react.

Anyway after about an hour of talking he started the blessing of the house. Before he had blessed the first room all our mouths got a dry as a bone and he needed water to even be able to speak properly.....maybe just all nervous or something.

He blessed every room, window, door. He gave extra blessings to the more "active" areas and got a bit of a fright down in the sun room. Everwhere got blessed. He was very nervous going into the utility room from the downstairs bathroom.

I think he did very well and this was his first experience with this kind of thing since he became a priest.

He said he'd come back if we needed him again.

After he went home we were shattered and wrecked I felt kind of giddy too. weird huh

We hope its gone. There were no more episodes of any kind after the blessing but to be very honest we were still nervous.

Thanks for letting us know what happened. My sis lived in Dublin (near smith field) and had a presence in the house. My Mam came in and said some prayers and hung bunches of Sage(correct me if I'm wrong people it may have been a different herb) over the front and back doors to cleanse all that entred the house.

It did the trick

Yep, its sage alright. Burning sage smudge sticks is great to cleanse, even after its just a bad day in work or an arguement. Cheap enough from places in dublin like house of astrology.
