I'm trying to bulid myself up, so i bought tony quinns mass builder. I've been using it for 5 weeks now, working out 4 times a week. I've been sticking to the programme my gyms fitness instructor set out for me, and have been increasing the weights gradually.
Problem is i have only gone from 10 stone to just over 10.5
Should i be looking for a new product, whey protein maybe?

For 5 weeks that's not bad - unless you've just started working out. If so, eat more.

I can't find out exactly what's in the Tony Quinn product, in theory I would go with a casein based product over a whey based one for general purpose supplementation. Real good stuff uses whey isolates and micellar casein to provide the slow release. For bulking I recommend using standard healthy foods anyway. Just make sure your eating regularly and alot, you shouldn't need to use a mass gainer formula unless you have real appetite issues.

The answer to your question is........nope. THere is very little in most weight gainer shakes than you cannot replicate yourself.
