    Hi
This has been done thousands of times but I can't get it to work. I could not find anything on a search of the forum.

Here's the problem. I got a network adaptor for my sons PS2. I'm using Esat BB. For now I'm connecting direct to Xyzel router but plan to use a hub to share the connection. Followed the set up disc for a new connection. Put in my Esat username & password but it just won't connect. I tried with no user name & password as they are in the router but the PS2won't asccept this.

A thought occured as I type to try and use the Xyzel username & password that I use when I want to access the router from my PC.

The next problem coming up is connecting his PSP

Thanks in adv for any help.

Is Broadband compatible with Playstation 2 or X-Box?
    Question
Is Broadband compatible with Playstation 2 or X-Box?
    Answer
You can use Broadband with X-Box and Playstation 2 to play online games.

You must configure a broadband router (BT currently supply Zyxel P623 routers with our broadband package) correctly using a PC.

Once this has been done, you may plug your gaming unit to the modem using an ethernet cable, and begin your online gaming.

Broadband is a residential product for use by a single user on a single machine.

You are provided with a single IP address and we will not support a network.

playstation ireland has a coulpe of guides for connecting your ps2 to the internet aswell.....

    Thanks,
I got it sorta sorted this evening. I set up a new connection, it gave a choice of Eircom BB or other, I selected Eircom and picked auto detect for everything, and hey presto it worked.

Next step is a network as it is a bit messy having to switch over ethernet cables depending on who wants to use the net.
